I'm really angry

I'm finally realizing just how angry I am. It doesn't show , others generally think I'm pretty pleasant , agreeable ,not a complainer etc.

I'm pissed off about the job , pissed off at my government, pissed off at myself , and pissed off at what this country has become , pissed off that average blue collar people can work all their life and end up with Jack shit.

Yet I still try to find joy in things that nobody can fuck with , like a beautiful day , Gods creation / mountain forests , rivers , raptors riding thermals.

I'm not a complete miserable fuck , just an angry older man .

Anger can be motivating, but it can also be blinding.

To each their own, of course. For some, their role in this play might require a higher degree of anger. Personally, I need a cooler and more focused mindset to properly defend the line in the sand.

Additionally, being angry at the right time is important. Save it for when it matters.

I’ve been in this same state before. In short, the best thing I’ve found is helping others. Not just anyone, but serious people who are worth helping. The wife and I have been mentoring a teenager lately, regarding moving out on her own, finances and similar things. Trying to be a role model for someone who is lacking that person. Idk, it’s just what we find ourselves doing and it’s the most rewarding thing aside from work. People did it for us when we were young.

Oh bro , my best friend who I've known since we were 4 years old has a new boat. Nothing fancy , just a 14 ft aluminum , seats and a motor that's about it. We go on the river to fish for carp , yeah I know , trash fish etc. However it takes some skill , they have weak mouths , and we catch 40+ lb ones pretty regularly.

The best part tho , we have so many shared memories , we lived across the street from each other as kids for over 10 years. I love this guy more than my own kin . We're going fishing this weekend ! Can't wait !
