"Sediment core analyses show hurricanes were more frequent when the globe was cool"
Screeching warmists claiming more hurricanes with warmth are delusional.

This makes a lot of sense to me, as I've long believed that the severity of any event is related to the magnitude of the gradient/change in the system.

For example, heating and shaping metal, and then rapid cooling (huge change in temperature) strengthens it much more than just letting it cool naturally.

Without the earth's rotation, the temperature from the sun's energy wants to be over 100C on the facing side. That's a lot of energy transfer.

The closer the earth gets to that 100C temperature (ignore all other considerations, such as life, etc), the weaker all of the system changes will be.

Most storms occur when a warm mass of air hits a cold boundary, or vice versa. If there were no gradients in temperature, then nothing major would happen.

Sparks at 3V are not as destructive as sparks at 220V, etc.
