Super Size Me (2004) shows that people are idiots

submitted by Conspirologist to movies 11 monthsJun 4, 2023 09:02:10 ago (+13/-4)     (movies)

Morgan Spurlock made a documentary Super Size Me (2004), where he eats only at McDonalds, and at the end his doctor warns him that his body is extremely damaged by this goyslop. Despite it being a popular movie, there are still a lot of idiots who eat at McDonalds, also bring their kids.

..and yet, this guy at at McDonalds ever day for 100 days and lost weight. (hint, he was selective and ate half portions). Maybe it's a function of not being a retard to start with. https://people.com/kevin-maginnis-mcdonalds-100-days-results-7506887

"The entire McDonald's menu was on the table for Kevin. "Pick a number, I've eaten everything from Big Macs to quarter pounders — with fries," he said on Today, joking, "Don't get bitter while I'm eating my apple fritter and losing weight!" He did replace the soda on the menu with water, didn't drink any alcohol and didn't eat any fruit and vegetables aside from the lettuce and tomato on burgers, the apples in the apple fritter and the blueberries in the blueberry muffin.

Snacking between meals was also prohibited, Kevin — living by the saying "seek the heat before you eat, meaning don't eat any snacks between, so you can actually feel when your body's actually hungry" — detailed.

Though he didn't exercise at all and never counted calories, Kevin saw significant changes to his health. After doing bloodwork, Kevin said his triglycerides were down 205 points and his cholesterol 65 points. His A1C levels also dropped. "Can eating a quarter pounder with cheese improve my A!C? Looks like it can because I was pre-diabetic before, down to healthy ranges now.""

What exactly are you advocating for here?

Common fucking sense is my first guess. Maybe a call to integrity is my second.

If you soak up obviously biased, nonsensical horseshit just because it's horseshit that you find congenial, then you're still an NPC. Personally, I don't like useful idiots regardless of who they cheer for.

The movie was fake AF. Whether the message is good there or not is kind of left irrelevant for me.

Yeah, next you're going to be citing Michael Moore.

Super Size Me was a hatchet job. It was never designed to be anything but a hatchet job. You have to completely shut your brain off to buy that eating McDonald's for a month is going to wreck your body so bad that it is medically necessary to stop. Not to mention the melodrama of that kike acting like he's in complete agony the entire fucking time.

It's fucking food, dumbass. It's lower grade, poorly prepared, and full of salt and preservatives, but it's still just meat, potatoes, and bread. For fuck's sake.

We can see your post history, autistic kike troll.

You know, I never really understood why so many people shit directly into your mouth around here. I gave you the benefit of the doubt up to this point as I tend to keep an open mind about most things.

I get it now though. Thanks for clarifying. You should definitely comb through my post history though. Maybe it'll unfuck you a little bit. There's some good shit in there.

Your mom is a whore, fucking JEW.

So glad to see the fat stupids gorging themselves at mcdonalds. They deserve every heart attack they get. They're the same fat stupids taking multiple clot shots and wearing their fucking masks. May they all see an early demise so we don't have to ruin our eyesight looking at them. Zero empathy.

The horrible service at BK is what's killing it

That’s what I’ve been thinking too. These companies are intentionally sabotaging their brands to cover for a collapsing economy.

As far as I know, Burger King is not Jew owned, but McDonalds is.

I didn't. I quit fast food after watching the documentary.

The movie fathead did the opposite eating only McDonald's.

That guy on the Twinkie diet did it.

Really just cut calories and you lose weight and blood markers get better. Obviously you'll run the risk of some sort of deficiency eventually, but you'll be fine for a few months.

Obviously you'll run the risk of some sort of deficiency eventually, but you'll be fine for a few months.

Meats and veg, full fat, dairy, eggs, etc are all fine. Just keep away from overly processed shit and sugars. It's not difficult. Drink lots of water, it helps keep you full, eat fat, it gives you satiation.

Take a daily multi-vitamin, because our food, even the least-processed stuff, is missing a significant portion of the nutrients it once had. This helps as well because you need to supplement now to keep from being deficient and still eat a normal amount.

Watch your alcohol, caffine, and salt intake.

Yeah, I remember in Fathead, they asked for the food journals but they weren't willing to provide any data at all. It mostly seems like Super Size Me is a scam.

I watched this movie with my girlfriend of the time. The only effect it had on her was it gave her a massive craving for McDonalds and she made me drive her to one as soon as it was over. True story.

McDonalds has marketed and changed their goyslop formulas since then. They might not be as bad it was in 2004. Not living out of a drive-thru is still better.
