I read a book 25 years ago called Embraced by the light.

It's about near death experiences.

In it the author says mentally challenged people choose that life in the previous realm because it is a learning experience.

That being said I have to say that I consider some lives not worth living.

For the same reason I think conservatives are wrong on abortion.
