There's not much to slide here anymore. I think the important action happens elsewhere online and voat's immune system wasn't able to keep out the riffraff forever. I'm still happy it exists and is a place for free speech, but I consider it mostly entertainment now.

There are groups who actually do stuff now you can support, and plenty of streamers you can get curated news from without having to wade through boomer memes and kike posts.

I think voat is just past it's prime. Maybe that'll change but I don't stress about it anymore.
