I simply don't believe the narrative that this reporter tries to convey that people think that anti open immigrant status is far right. I know the media says that and I know this reporter is paid to say that and it's probably told by his editors to say that or else he loses his job but I don't believe even he thinks that being against open borders is actually far right. I think it's all been a complete b******* narrative. I think it's been designed to make people worry that if they themselves weren't for completely open borders that they might be cast as some sort of extremist and dangerous person so they just kept their mouth shut politically.

The “far right” only rises in direct response to the far left, this is what happens when you push unwanted narratives onto people. The french revolution was such a response and look at how that turned out (initially).
