You're right to regard any unusual behavior as suspect and the thought never occurred to me.
As for blocking good content, it seemed like a slow day in any event, with hardly anyone logged in.
Anyway, thanks for being vigilant. This place means a lot to me and it's nice to see that at least a vestige of the vaunted Voat immune system is still functioning :)
