Generally Marines aren't children of the wealthy. If a beach is unsafe you won't see the wealthy there, they'll find a place out of reach. The biggest impact would be property values; for which they can move.

Alternatively you can charge a fee to enter an area and protect it with armed gaurds.

They're so good at avoiding issues they can continue to virtues signal - having marines beaten on memorial day though will have an effect.

I appreciate you trying, and I'm not sure what you're getting at. California is already full of criminals, and the wealthy aren't moving. They're not invincible as we saw with Bob Lee. In any case, these beaches are open air parks. There are places that are harder to get to where the wealthy can block off and enjoy the beach.

You don't have to be, particularly since no beach in California is private even if people block access (which is illegal). Some local knowledge helps. That's why I called it a public park. Going to these stretches of beaches where they have cities and parking. If you know you probably go somewhere else, although a holiday weekend is gonna be a rough time to find a private spot.

There have been rich people that just paid the fines. Or tied up battles about access to beaches in court indefinitely.

They have to provide access, and groups like Surfriders will sue them if they don't. They don't have to advertise it though. And a lot of people have incentive to keep those public accesses somewhat secret. You can go wherever you want by boat, though it's seemingly less common California than Florida.

Nigs and others invade beach towns on holiday weekends. Where my family used to spend a month in the summer, they would block off the roads to try and stop it. Actually based on my experience this is not that uncommon in California. I've never noticed it anywhere else.
