They did this shit in Sri Lanka with 'organic fertilizer' instead of synthetically produced. It crashed agriculture production by 50% and now people literally ARE eating bugs to survive
When the government addresses a crisis things get worse. When was the last crisis government did anything useful?
Maybe someone could argue that some of the hurricane response has been useful, but in that case they just do it. If they need to sell you on something and they are describing a crisis I think you need to go back to pre-American history before you'll find anything.
