Most of you don't know this about me but one of my hobbies is government spending, taxation blatant civil rights infractions. And while I'm not an expert I do read a lot and this hits home. It hits home because Peru is one of hundreds of countries that receive Foreign Aid from US taxpayers.

$475 MILLION in 2019 alone. One of these programs has a four letter acronym like OPEC but it's Drug Enforcement Reallocation Something something to the tune of 75 Million per year and was conceived 2-3 decades ago.

What it does is help Peruvians farm asparagus. That's right, we subsidize a foreign country to grow shit so they can make money thinking, like asshole politicians do, that if they grow asparagus they won't grow cocaine. The problem is that asparagus only grows in the low lying regions of the country and cocaine is grown in the mountainous areas. Mountain niggers aren't going to walk 200 miles everyday to farm asparagus. It'd be like asking a lumberjack in the northeast to pick cotton in Mississippi.

So what happens? Well Peru farms asparagus at a lower rate than anyone else can and the cocaine growers just keep on doing what they do. Meanwhile, asparagus is so cheap from Peru that American farmers can't even compete with their price even with the cost of shipping it here so they stop. Canneries........MULTI MILLION DOLLAR FACILITIES shut down and everyone just buys foreign asparagus.
