I was going to a gym about four to five days a week until some some really really time consuming and stressful life stuff started happening, so I backed off. About the same time I was getting really tired of the people there. I’m not there to socialize at all and I deal with people all day anyway. I was really getting tired of waiting for benches or machines and having to workout around a bunch of dirty brown people and tattooed trash. Literally everyone, including the women are tattooed shit.
So, I picked up a bowflex extreme 2 on CL for $400. I’m not sure I really care for it as I can’t seem to even get sore using it. Maybe I’m doing it wrong, whatever. So in the meantime I have found that I get a better workout from regular old pushups. Anyone here have any experience with the bowflex? What are your thoughts?
My hair is rather short, even metaphorically. I really don’t wanna get run over by a grain transport or a tractor. Besides, only the tweaker losers in town ride those things.

Where do you live? I think you once told us or sent a pic. It's about having fun, particularly in shopping precincts where the tarmac is good. Ok but point taken. I've tried. God knows I've tried!

You want low-impact exercises. The power rod system means it's much easier to use this machine compared to free weights. It's highly recommended for people recovering from injuries or just want to reduce their recovery times.
You don't want a bunch of different equipment. The Bowflex Xtreme 2 is like having a bunch of different machines all-in-one. It's great if you only have a little space in your home or can't dedicate an entire room to be your personal gym.
