My current workout routine

submitted by TheOriginal1Icemonkey to whatever 11 monthsMay 27, 2023 00:19:02 ago (+3/-1)     (whatever)

I was going to a gym about four to five days a week until some some really really time consuming and stressful life stuff started happening, so I backed off. About the same time I was getting really tired of the people there. I’m not there to socialize at all and I deal with people all day anyway. I was really getting tired of waiting for benches or machines and having to workout around a bunch of dirty brown people and tattooed trash. Literally everyone, including the women are tattooed shit.

So, I picked up a bowflex extreme 2 on CL for $400. I’m not sure I really care for it as I can’t seem to even get sore using it. Maybe I’m doing it wrong, whatever. So in the meantime I have found that I get a better workout from regular old pushups. Anyone here have any experience with the bowflex? What are your thoughts?

Suggest buying an Adult Razor Kick-Scooter and enjoying exercise for once.

I live in the country, not in the city where this kind of hipster-fag shit takes place.

Let your hair down. Don't worry what people think.

My hair is rather short, even metaphorically. I really don’t wanna get run over by a grain transport or a tractor. Besides, only the tweaker losers in town ride those things.

Where do you live? I think you once told us or sent a pic. It's about having fun, particularly in shopping precincts where the tarmac is good. Ok but point taken. I've tried. God knows I've tried!

Reasons to avoid Bowflex Xtreme 2?

You just want to tone muscles. There are more straightforward and affordable machines out there if you're just looking to maintain what you have. Only people who really want to get that bodybuilder aesthetic should push themselves further than 210 pounds.

What real Bowflex Xtreme 2 reviews say

We spent 18 hours scouring the web (reading over 253 customer reviews). Our conclusion? Bowflex Xtreme 2 receives high praise! Our average consolidated user rating sits around a 4.6 - 4.8 (across several hundred reviews). Bowflex Xtreme 2 scored higher, on average, compared to their closest competitors.

Reasons to buy Bowflex Xtreme 2?

You want low-impact exercises. The power rod system means it's much easier to use this machine compared to free weights. It's highly recommended for people recovering from injuries or just want to reduce their recovery times.

You don't want a bunch of different equipment. The Bowflex Xtreme 2 is like having a bunch of different machines all-in-one. It's great if you only have a little space in your home or can't dedicate an entire room to be your personal gym.

You're looking to get buff. With upgrades, you can push yourself to lift up to 410 pounds. This is a highly recommended model for anyone really looking to pack on muscle.

I like foundation training on youtube. Balances out your body if you've been sitting all day in computer chair or in car.
