Why should he be? He is never reported to have performed any miracles and the other criteria for sainthood.
Sheen was a popular tv priest so he should be a saint.
So then should Benny Hin, Kathryn Kulmann and Joel Osteen. Why not Billy Graham? Who cares if they're not catholic?
Catholics have enough saints and are too quick to create new ones. Why was Pope John Paul or Mother Teresa sainted within years of their death? Sainthood seems to be based on how popular you are now.
