I had an unnecessary prolonged fight with some home invaders. We were outnumbered. 3 of us. 7 of them plus more outside. We had one non fighter, one tall scared dude and me. Luckily they didn't have weapons. When you're outnumbered stop talking, concentrate on getting a weapon to even the odd. I should have went into the kitchen and grabbed a large frying pan.

Sure, didn't check how he came to be in a conversation with them. If he answered the door it was very foolish.

If he lived in a dangerous place he could easily had a camera and speaker with a steel reinforced door, got pictures, and told them via the speaker nobody was available, or that they had the wrong house.

It seems they're were lots of other choices; perhaps it could be said he was brave though.
