Get off the internet and give yourself a break from all the bullshit.

You have hobbies or things you enjoy...so do something that makes you happy.

If you can do those things work on fixing your lack of appetite.

Good luck

Are you getting a lot of direct sunlight without any sunblock or anything else. Especially with your eyes open without sunglasses on so that light hits the back of your retina and triggers your brain serotonin

I have been getting more and more sunlight the past few weeks with the change of weather and going on frequent walks.

None of those things are going to generate endorphins. They just reduce the amount of endorphins that are necessary to overcome the effects of an unhealthy body.

You ALSO need to do useful shit. That's where endorphins are generated.

Live a lifestyle where your tasks can be broken down and completed in 15 minute stages of effort.
Don't work on large long-term projects until you figure out how to break them down.

Even if you can manage your life without a to-do list, make a to-do list anyway of 15 minute shit that needs to be done.
Then when you do it, check it off. The act of "checking it off" is what generates endorphins.

[ - ] anon 4218285 [op] 0 points 2.0 yearsMay 26, 2023 14:33:10 ago (+0/-0)

Basically you want me to focus on short term tasks?

[ - ] anon 2726657 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 26, 2023 14:58:13 ago (+1/-0)*

No, I'm saying you need to hack your nervous system to trick it into producing "positive emotion chemicals". The way you do that is, you accomplish things, and accomplishing things in the long term isn't helping you. You need endorphins NOW.

So, if you trick your nervous system into thinking it's constantly accomplishing things, it will be constantly producing endorphins.

The way you do that is, break 1 large project into chunks that you can complete in 15 minutes each and have some kind of "completion ritual", like checking off a todo list, for each thing you do.

If you don't like check lists. Eat 1 (only one, more doesn't help) M&M candy when you complete a task. But if you do this, you can never just causally eat candy ever again.

Long term goals are just an accumulation of short term goals. So, don't worry about paying $300,000 for a house. Just do 15 minutes of work, put the money you earned away it's useless for now, and reward yourself with a squirt of free endorphins.

Some people claim microdosing psilocybin helped clear their depression.
I don't know enough about it to feel confident giving you advice, but I'm certain someone here does.

Also, you're right to avoid prescription meds; they can make the suicidal ideation worse.

I've a friend who does this, and it did help, but their addictive personality let it go too far, so keep your guard up if you go down that route that you don't spiral into bigger doses, or frequent dosing.

How old are you, faggot?

Get in touch with your family and make some friends. And do regular activities with them even if it’s just meals.
Eat more fat for now. I mean butter, tallow, cheese, and coconut oil. Do NOT eschew sugar for now. Don’t gorge or overdo calories, of course.

Every day, go out in bright sunlight for at least 20 minutes without sunglasses. Anytime between 10-2.
Journalling and meditating is pussy bullshit, it’s very introspective and would drive you more up your own ass.
If you are sad, you can cry alone. No shame. It’s helpful to have a loving spouse.

Maybe joining a based church could be helpful as it can provide a bond with community.

The best way to never get depressed again is to have kids. Idk if they release happiness chemicals or you just get too busy for depression to take root.

How about avocado oil?

[ - ] Ragnar 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 26, 2023 18:57:09 ago (+1/-0)

No. You can use it a bit on salad if you really want to but don’t cook in it. Use tallow, butter, lard (from extremely good verifiable source) and coconut oil for cooking.
Don’t fall for omega 3 scam. If you want it, eat sea food including fatty fish once or twice a week.

What really helps with depression is cholesterol and sunshine (and actually sugar). Besides children and family, that is.

[ - ] mannerbund 2 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 19:44:35 ago (+2/-0)

Set and accomplish goals, make them achievable, but not so easy that you didn't have to work towards them.

You should have a goal to be achieved every day, every week, every month, and every year at minimum. This sets you up to completing tasks that don't dominate your time, letting the days be dynamic while still moving in a good direction.

The idea of goals is to feel satisfied with your progress towards something. It's to be given a meaning for your day, and that fulfilment should help a lot.

Time needs to be given to thought in regards to what these goals are, useless goals leave you without meaning when completing them.

Assuming you're not a fucktard, interact with people, go to farmers markets, grow something and set up a booth and sell it so you can interact with more people who are more in touch with reality.

What's your diet like? are you eating goy slop or proper food? What is your Vitamin intake like? Depression is influenced by chemical composition. Ignore all the feel good touchy feely bullshit, get your chemicals right first

Vitamin D 10,000IU a day
Vitamin K2
Magnesium
Zinc/Quercetin
Vitamin B Group

NONE of the multivitamin bullshit. High quality individual vitamins.

Once you get over the mental health issues, start training more!
Creatine
NAC
AAKG
Glycine

Become the the fuckin animal you are!!, you deserve to feel like a fuckin champion.

Try saint johns wart, you shouldn't drink booze within a 12 hour window of taking it though, generally any alcohol is to be avoided when on it, it will make the depressive effects of booze much worse.

Setting and achieving goals of any kind is a good one.

Also consider that modern life gives us many ways to block out how we feel, like video games, porn, compulsive internet, movies, tv, drinking, drugs, etc... the list is endless. When we're depressed or angry or lonely or ashamed we can do these things so you don't have to feel those things. At least for a little while.

But being numb doesn't make it go away, it's just not top of mind so you still feel like a distracted, numb, piece of shit.

Now imagine you take away those distracting stimulations - you're not going to feel better, you're going to feel normal again. And normal doesn't feel good, as you're experiencing right now. It probably feels worse because now you don't have any way to ignore everything that's bothering you. And it can be overwhelming and confusing at first. Think about when your arm falls asleep and how uncomfortable it is as you're getting feeling back in it. It's like that, except your brain.

But you're not done, now you have to figure out what exactly is making you feel mad, or lonely, or whatever, and address that specific thing before you feel better. Sometimes this just means figuring it out or sometimes you have a problem to solve. But that's the part where you will feel better. Even with problems you can't solve, the act of figuring it out and working on it will bring relief.

Hope this helps.

[ - ] anon 1063819 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 21:02:51 ago (+1/-0)

I don't like the idea of going down the supplement / medication path. Cause you may have to take them indefinitely. However... I've heard Saffron is magical in regards to helping depression. I believe it's expensive though. And you have to take it often.

There's other supplements you could try. St Johns Wort and/or Rhodiola rosea. Curcumin and Zinc may help. I'd try to get Curcumin and Zinc from food sources if you go with either. Oily fish with its omega3 is helpful. All of these have had some positive effects in trials and studies.

Keep in mind your body may build up tolerance to meds/supps so it helps to cycle them.

Are you getting deep sleep? 300mcg Melatonin and/or Magnesium orotate would help in this department if needed.

Part of the problem is there's different types and levels of depression so it's a game of figuring out what works for you. Good luck and keep trying things.

I will second what someone else said about hobbies. Doing things that interest you gives you that dopamine your brain craves.

[ - ] anon 2925011 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 21:12:26 ago (+1/-0)

Good effort. Seriously, hats off to you.

But what if you're just plain nuts? Ain't no fixing that shit. Keep up the self improvement stuff, because you can't put a price tag on good health, but maybe it's time to re-evaluate what is base-line. For you I mean. A new take on (your) life might be just the ticket.

[ - ] anon 3257330 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 21:16:41 ago (+1/-0)

Do you feel like there's a big glob of mud right on the front of your brain?

Get rid of deodorants that have aluminum. Right Guard spray is safe.

Get any "silver" dental fillings you have removed, they are 50% mercury and cause depression and suicide.

Take a magnesium citrate supplement everyday. If you take calcium take it 12 hours apart from the magnesium because they'll compete with each other for uptake in the body.

[ - ] anon 4218285 [op] 0 points 2.0 yearsMay 30, 2023 09:45:53 ago (+0/-0)

I experienced brain fog sometimes but i don’t use aluminum deodorant or have any dental fillings

So I’ve got genetic mental illness (bpd) and meds were the only thing that did it for me. I was (and still am) healthy etc. but the meds were the only thing that helped me hold down a job.

Basically the pills I take stop the brain from over activity by preventing little brain seizures. Lamictal.

I didn’t want to do it but it worked and 15 years later make 200k, wife, 4 kids and my shit is tight. I thank the meds.

[ - ] anon 3021706 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 24, 2023 10:58:39 ago (+1/-0)

Those things you're talking about, including the medication, are not cures for depression. Depression is very complex, but to break it down in a simple way, depression occurs because there is something or things occurring in your life that cause this depression. No amount of coping mechanisms will change that.

What you're doing is good, but you will not suddenly wake up one day and all your problems are gone. You need to address the root cause of what is making you unhappy. Exercise, medication, etc are tools you use to elevate your mental state enough to where you can address this cause. You sound like you are in a place where you can begin to do this, which is commendable as many people have trouble taking that first step.

I hope you find the answers you are looking for. There is no magic solution which will cause an untenable situation to become suddenly tolerable though. It is important to accept that so you don't spend energy chasing dopamine.

Write a manifesto like Hitler. Author anonymously. Get white power publishing group to pick up book. Distribute book. Use earnings to invest in new life. Learn independence from Zog society and all of its degeneracy. Learn to farm, shoot, build a structure, wire electricity, plumbing, etc. Build white fortress on federal land. Build up army of dependable whites with varying skills. Take vengeance on all 3-letter agencies. Lead guerilla war against ZOG. Find wife, have 10 white kids. Hang the traitors. Kick out the immigrants. Live in peace. K!ll all Jews who speak up.
