One of my father's happiest memories is when he got me a CRF450, after been through a line of 50s, 80s, 125s, 250s.

The first day out, he let me know that today was a milestone that he dreamed of when I was born, that he and I would be able to ride together as equals.

Build those memories, they'll last a lifetime.

There are some very good but easy kits available now with cnc matched rivet hole punching. Vans RV12 for example.

I don't know about Sturgis, at this point we both have 1200 enduros, and any time either of us showed up where Harleys are 'the bike to have', we get quite the stink eye. It feels like a team event and we dressed up wrong.

I had an '03 CRF450R. Really regret selling it, but in '09 it was due for a full rebuild and I was moving to a big city in another state.

The White plates on the front of those bikes, the little one has a fox on it, they need to have 14 on one and 88 on the other.

They are amazing bikes. And a great buy by today's standards. Still competitive yet easy to ride. The reality of the Works Motocross bike. Great Suspension, power from the bottom to the top.
