short story from back in the day

I helped a young woman out of gas one day.
I pushed her car a couple hundred feet to a gas station.
I told her specifically do not touch the brakes.
Of course she hit the brakes because of the 1" transition from the street to the service station.
Car comes to a complete halt.
Now I'm pushing from a stop up a 5° incline.
I got her out of the road. Berated her for not listening and walked away.
Leaving her 75' from the pump.
BTW SHE WAS A VERY PRETTY BLONDE. SHE WAS SPEECHLESS WHEN I WALKED AWAY.

Do you know how many classic car ads I see on Craigslist where they’re asking 45k for a Camaro and they can’t spell BRAKES?

I READ 2 BOOKS A WEEK FOR ALMOST 30 YEARS. mostly non fiction. I CAN ANSWER EVERY QUESTION ON jEOPARDY. I have a GED and an Associates Degree. I have known numerous people with Masters Degrees that cant do math or spell, And have ZERO street sense.

The spelling on here never ceases to amuse me. A degree these days is just a certificate of obediance to indoctrination.

Helped a guy that was broke down on ridge road. People just kept going around him and his wife yelling and honking thier horn.

Noticed what was going on parked in the middle of the right and left turning lane put on my hazards and moved him to the breakdown lane.

People are jewish in the Tampa area.
