Great quote

submitted by NukeAmerica to Quotes 1 yearMay 19, 2023 21:56:17 ago (+2/-3)     (Quotes)

"Constant revolutionising of production, uninterrupted disturbance of all social conditions, everlasting uncertainty and agitation distinguish the bourgeois epoch from all earlier ones. All fixed, fast-frozen relations, with their train of ancient and venerable prejudices and opinions, are swept away, all new-formed ones become antiquated before they can ossify. All that is solid melts into air, all that is holy is profaned, and man is at last compelled to face with sober senses his real conditions of life, and his relations with his kind." -Karl Marx

The only quote that's ever influenced me is this one. It's so accurate:

“Because most of what we say and do is not essential. Ask yourself at every moment, “Is this necessary?”” – Marcus Aurelius

These days I find myself stopping what I was about to say to the missus because ... it's unnecessary and she couldn't give a toss in any event. A lot of folk wish I could employ the same discipline here...arseholes!

I hope your “missus” murders you.

constant revolutionizing of production, uninterrupted disturbance of all social conditions, everlasting uncertainty and agitation distinguish the bourgeois epoch from all earlier ones.

These are conditions brought about by emissaries of his 'faith' undermining positions of societal importance.

All fixed, fast-frozen relations, with their train of ancient and venerable prejudices and opinions, are swept away, all new-formed ones become antiquated before they can ossify. All that is solid melts into air, all that is holy is profaned,

The means by which they upset, dismiss, ridicule and smear their opponents, which is everyone, for all that are not for them are against them.

and man is at last compelled to face with sober senses his real conditions of life, and his relations with his kind." -Karl Marx

Destructive materialist non-sense at it's peak worship of the physical. It's bat-shit insanity posing as profundity.
