Pertaining to a person's theological or spiritual beliefs I am of the position that everyone has the right to maintain their own perspective provided that it's not forced upon me.
The problem I do have is when someone's religious or ideological philosophy is openly slandered and ridiculed as substandard or delusional.
Who in good conscience can justify arguing with someone that there is no God when in many case's a person's belief in God is all they have to cling to? A life of drudgery is tempered only by a hope that there's something better that awaits after leaving this life and to many people that something is their "faith in God".
I think the term "Christcuck" is ignorant (as in lack of knowledge) and it's rude. What does a person have left but their faith in God when their life is mired in misery? Who am I to dissuade someone from the only glimmers of hope they have when I have nothing of substitute to offer other than my personal beliefs? I've seen misery and despair and without a faith in God there would be no purpose in life.
I was at one time a practicing Christian but my position has changed and that's my personal position, the "biblical God" just doesn't making sense to me anymore. But that's me.
What good does it do me to ridicule Christian beliefs....what good does it do anyone to ridicule me for my non Christian beliefs?
Being critical of someone's philosophical position does nothing to advance a cohesive bond within our already fragmented society.
I don't use the cc word, but I understand people who do. They fall into one of two categories.
1. They understand Christianity has jewish origins and have explored if this is a problem, and ultimately decided yes. I agree with them on this and it was as difficult of a redpill as any other, if not worse. This is a complicated topic but mockery can sometimes work where rationality doesn't so that's why they do it.
2. It's also used by kikes and good goys as a fracture point.
It's used both ways. By either the best of goats or shitty kikes. But seems that concept is too complicated for most people.
@SecretHitler....religion has really gotten comercialized, also, it's seen as a crutch and the disabled leaning on that crutch are exploited, that's human nature, predator and prey aren't limited to the animal kingdom, those vulnerable to the appeal of a "mercantile saviour" for the most part are incapable of standing their ground and have a crippling insecurity ergo they need a sanctuary where they can feel protected...and, in my opinion, all get fleeced by the ambassadors of God offering that sanctuary...what really affected me, as a Christian, was the criminality and hypocrisy I've witnessed 1st hand in the 3rd world involving the church missions, they're not promoting a faith in God, they're stealing kids....even in the 3rd world the missionaries pass around the collection plate, intimidation through guilt because God needs money even from the impoverished who's yearly income is less than a kid's paper route....every denomination I've encountered in the Caribbean and Latin America was evil and corrupt. I just felt like I could no longer maintain a belief in something that was never making sense...that's just me.
I believe religion developed as a way to regulate group behavior and that god/gods were an anthropomorphism of something like “group instinct” i.e. morals. But over the last several thousand years, as empires were built by one group conquering another, religion has become a tool of exploitation— a means of living like parasites of workers while maintaining control . I think priestly castes developed in many places to benefit themselves through this form of mental slavery.
Some of the more exploitive sects seem unbelievably transactional to me. “Donate to us and you will do well.” Alot of false hope is given—seems like anything is promised with some of the churches aimed at low IQ demographics. Also I think some of these churches create “agape junkies” who blather about love and tolerance 24/7. Its a childish morality imo which really demonstrates Marx’s old adage.
The purpose of religion should never be to expand an empire or get rich off a product of false hope. Theres probably some of this sort of thing going on in every religion. I think the amish and the quakers did a good job of structuring their congregations in a way that avoided much of the corruption inherent in large hierarchies like the Catholic Church
@PostWallHelena...an unavoidable imperative imprinted into the human psyche is the "element of need" with respect to the idea of a leader, someone to dictate policy and who offers guidance based in wisdom and experience, someone who's already payed the price for his mistakes and corrected them so as to not make them again, presumably so that others won't make those same mistakes....when people are in doubt they feel alone and vulnerable, they look for a "second opinion" from someone who is trusted as making the right decisions...there's a composition titled "footprints in the sand" and at the end when noticing the footprints of only himself the person asked God why he was left to walk alone and God replied "it was then that I carried you" leaving the reader to feel relieved that when all hell breaks out there's someone there who will come to bear the burden and carry them through it, hence the ambition to want to conquer that burden alone, but it's comforting to believe that there's help if desperately needed.
It is a comforting idea. I often wish I wasnt an atheist. Its not comforting at all. Maybe that need for guidance and authority is an instinct we evolved to listen to our parents when we are young, but then, as we become adults, that need remains as an artifact in our psyche, which we fulfill through an imaginary individual with powers greater that any person we know.
An uncaring , inhuman universe is a pretty scary concept.
I don’t think human brains are particularly logical anyhow, theism or not. They are survival machines. They make us do things that help our survival, which is a totally different mission from “accurately comprehend the universe”. Thats just a hobby that a small number of people actually care about.
For me, I don't mind if people bash my faith, I'm secure enough in my beliefs to let it wash off. What gets me is the lack of critical thought, and the lack of intelligent dialogue about it. If you don't agree or believe, that's fine and you are free to choose your own path, but if the only objection is REEEEEEEEEEEEE, then maybe a little self-reflection would be in order before someone starts bashing. If your house isn't in order, then don't criticize someone else's house.
Lol. Did I sit down at your table in some restaurant uninvited? No.
This is a debate forum.
...which is why you interjected with an unsolicited reply to @Augustineofhippo2 ‘s comment. You were trying to be a gadfly, insinuating that he was dumb for believing in a god.
Well turnabout is fair play. You inserted yourself into Auggie’s replies, now you’re like “oh this is a private conversation” —seriously?
are trying to change the course of it like a typical female.
And now you’re trying to play the penis pass. Denied. If you had any chops you would explain to me why a behavior that is so “ridiculous” has been selected for in every human population that exists. You should be able to explain this as a non-theist who believes in evolution.
You can’t even defend your position to me and Im on your side! You were trying to patrol somebody else, but you got patrolled. Nuff said.
"Auggie" said we can discuss it in his post. I started discussing it with him. Then you inserted yourself in an attempt to change the conversation. Here you are doing it again. Fuck off, woman.
Auggie said he deplored the lack of intelligent debate, he objected to REEEEE and bashing. You said let’s discuss it. You said it on a public forum, not a PM. And then you made an unintelligent argument, essentially: “Why do you hold such a ridiculous opinion” , which seems like a pretty jewy tactic to me.
Then when someone else joined the debate, you were happy to engage with them because you thought they were christian and a ripe target for your insults.
You only started bitching about your fucking privacy when you found out Im an atheist and you were confused about how to “own” the situation.
Of course you can’t explain why belief in gods and religions are present in every human society. It never occured to you that it’s a natural evolved human behavior. Because you’re a low IQ atheist. It never occured to you to consider theism in an evolutionary context. You dont understand religion and it’s function in human society, so youve just swapped the old religion for a a new stupid one that supposes all theists are all dumb and you are real hot shit. You think you get some sort of genius award for being an atheist. I hate that shit. Leftists and jews do it all the time.
You were just proceeding to tell Auggie how he was dumb and you were hot shit. But you’re not hot shit. You don’t want to discuss anything. You just want to insult people for being christian, but you cant answer one simple question on the subject.
Now you’re trying to claim Im changing the conversation? Ha. It’s not changing the conversation just because somebody had a good point that you can’t argue effectively. You must be some kind of faggot if you’re afraid to argue this subject with a woman.
It's in man's head that problems arise. We believe in conspiracies too which is not to say conspiracies don't come into being but I doubt they are as commonplace as some folk believe.
What in the fuck. If anything has been shown from the last 3 years, it's that the conspiracy theorists were spot on with a LOT of things. The autists stop at nothing to find the truth
oh wow, you are off to such an intelligent, well thought out start.
To answer your question, I use my reason and intelligence to come to the understanding that life could not have just accidentally, randomly, magically appeared out of nothing. There is no reasonable explanation other than some divine influence.
[ - ] Panic 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 20, 2023 16:58:59 ago (+1/-0)
Given you are correct, that does not mean it was Yahweh in particular. Every ancient religion has it's fables and origin stories. You believe as almost everybody believes in the narrative given by location. Were you born in Arabia, it would be Allah. Just that simple. India? Cherokee Reservation? Israel?? Nepal? People believe what is given, not what is true.
The divine is whatever we are taught. To accept Christianity in America is just more of the same stuff. Go right ahead!
I'm willing to discuss, but you need to put some intellectual thought into your arguments.
All that you have done is say, "make a statement so i can bash it". that is intellectually lazy. if you have something to say, then present it in an educated, intelligent manner. all you have done is bash the statements of others, and have not presented any intelligent points of your own.
I don't think there's anything left to discuss. I asked you why you believe in God. You answered because of our unknown origins. I replied that is how the lie of God was created as an answer for the unknown. Some things are still considered "acts of god" like hurricanes and tornadoes despite the fact that we know what causes them and how they form. It has nothing to with god.
Now you're all mad because you exposed yourself and your faith. You shifted the blame from yourself to me as you don't like the way I phrased something.
Maybe one day you'll realize how you've been conned by the biggest scam in human history...that being religion. Good luck
Our origins are not unknown. I think your issue is that this is a position that no scientist or religious person holds. This must be something you just made up for yourself to justify your rejection of God.
I also draw the line at where your religious beliefs encroaches on my freedom, you being offended is not my problem. i.e. my lack of belief in your religion is not an offense.
[ - ] paul_neri 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 19, 2023 23:22:54 ago (+1/-0)
True.In these Woke times we are not permitted to question anyone's beliefs and actions if we could offend them which is inimical to intellectual advancement. I guess the least offensive option in this context is to question someone's beliefs, if indeed we feel a need to, in a civil manner.

Catholics wouldn't be that bad except for two glaring things.
They are OK with hordes of 3rd world migrants because 'empathy'. They are OK with the melting pot. They actually have charities with $$$ setup to support these shitskins. Some of that money makes its way to NGOs promoting migration to Western countries.
The second is this devotion to the hierarchical structure with the Pope and it's corrupt tentacles. This is a long documented subject with red flags for centuries. A local bishop/archbishop is at least closer to their constituents, although corruption and pedophilia still have been shown to be problematic.
If the flock could get by these two issues they'd be a lot more tolerable. They won't though and continue to stick their heads in the sand.
literally never used outside of this forum or any other forum infested by kikes
it's obvious who uses it, they want to push the "cuck" mentality onto White Christians some more...it would be more accurate to say something like "catholiccuck" if you want to insult someone who is supposed to be following the Christian morality who is simping for kikes, because that's what catholism actually is.
People think they have "rights" is hilarious...fuck everyone elses belief structure or system, make your own fucking America if you want a hijab America, or a smelly street shitter America, build it in your own countries

While there may be some play from kikes to push this word, it shouldn't distract from the weaknesses of Christianity. The turn the other cheek mentality has been played against Whites for far too long. A strong defense is necessary because satanic and greedy types abuse it. The churches must be called out when they tell us to forgive and forget. Forgiveness can admirable to a certain degree, but is only seen as weakness to perpetrators.
You occasionally see parents forgiving a shitskin that murdered their progeny in cold blood and just shake your head. This is not a common sense response.
Christian community has some benefits when it's not pushed too far into weakness. A like minded community can support each other and grow together. It's not like it used to be in the past though, that close knit community is not as connected as it used to be 60+ years ago.
Well said, I feel the same way to an extent. I give people plenty of room with the religious beliefs as long as they are tolerant of my lack if a committed belief system. Except for kikes. They can get fucked. A stain and plague upon all of humanity.
I care about the kind of christianity that goats follow. As long as they pro-white and non-degenerate, they can go hog wild with their theism, it doesnt bother me.
The christ cuck shit does bother me. We should be uniting as WNs and not shitting on each other. Attacking christians for following what has been european tradition for the last 1700 years seems insane.
