Essential oils are often the cause of contact dermatitis. Other than that, the books mostly discuss common caustic reactions. There should be more discussion around castille soap that can be used horticulturally, or plants with medical properties to treat burns, wounds, etc which the books neglect to mention.
When we were younger and my sister started seeing the results of aloe vera fading her coral reef marks she went around and grabbed aloe leaves from the entire neighboorhood. She wasnt taking 1 or 2 pieces she was taking entire full leaves. The neighbors were pissed.
But those things work better than anything mederma could ever invent.
From reefs. Her legs looked so bad kids used to ask if they were cigarette burns from a gang initiation. Funny but not funny. the aloe vera worked though and cleared it all up.
Excellent resources NS. Also look out for berries like blueberries, strawberries, blackberries which are amazing. Pomegranate arils might be a god cure for almost everything, I'll see if I can find the study about the crown fruit.
Yarrow is a great astringent as a Witch Hazel and Alum that are often ingredients in aftershave. No one should be promoting lavender outside of its aesthetic value, smell, or for pollinating fruit trees. It is notorious for turning little boys gayer than Dial.
Tea tree oil bro, it works awesome. Just dont get it in your eyes or pee-pee hole, and dont use it on animals, many are highly allergic to it, especially dogs. I've simply gone to putting it in my shampoo/bod wash, heals all sorts of shit.
I have this really great cleaning product that works on almost anything and its dirt cheap. It's called water. Add a bit of elbow grease and it can get up almost anything.
You don't need a cleaning product. Cleaning products are gimmicks. Why would you make your own gimmick? Sure, there are a few things that need a product. But its like 5% of the things you clean.

The best for burns is aloe Vera bar none. Better than any pharmaceutical product available.
