What If All This Tranny Beer Bullshit Was Conceived as a Marketing Ploy By Hardcore Drunks to Lower the Prices of Beer Due to Inflation?

This was a legit question that was brought up during lunch at work today and the following was discussed (I'm paraphrasing).

Due to the rising costs of inflation, a marketing team came up with an idea to lower beer prices just in time for spring/summer & Memorial Day weekend - and even get free beer out of it.
It could be a 4D chess move in disguise within the marketing industry - Get people to hate it but still get tons of free marketing & promotion and brand awareness despite the backlash.

The retailers are technically the ones who are losing money on the beer sales, because a lot of them are under yearly contracts to buy a certain number of cases/pallets every month or so (especially the big retailers like Walmart, Kroger, Target, etc) and now they have so much excessive beer that they need to discount it by 1/2 price or even give it away in order to move it and make room for the next delivery.

And people will eventually stop caring about the woke tranny shit attached to it and just buy it because it's really cheap beer and they want to get drunk as fuck.

This may actually be a smart move. Or not.

As it was explained to me by a drunk gambler, and assuming I recall correctly:

1. cash on hand counts as a liability.

2. stocks count as equities

3. a crashing stock allows buybacks, reducing liabilities in exchange for assets

4. the liabilities are not used to buy the stock directly, but rather put up as leverage on shorts. they borrow their own stock on the market, using cash.

5. they then purchase matching put options using these stocks as collateral, laundering the unlimited risk of the shorts through the premium cap on the puts.

6. next they drive the market down with advertising-turned-self-fulfilling-prophecy.

7. when the elevator hits bottom, the shorts pay out, and the money is used to buy the stocks at the prices reserved via the puts.
