It's obvious that blanket amnesty will come on the heels of this surge; the idea being to hit Americans so hard and fast that they'll be too busy struggling for daily survival that they won't be in a position to organize and resist.

Think about it: suddenly, you're out of a job, or your landlord doubled your rent or kicked you out in favor of a government-subsidized invader, or you're having to take time off to deal with another break-in at your house, or you're too busy working that second job to even think about outside activities.

Whatever the case may be, anarcho-tyranny styled upon the Summer of Love will be the order of the day, where the government uses the cover of mass civil unrest to perpetrate its wrongs against the people.

And, yes, more of the election-rigging and demographic warfare.

These people (and I use that term loosely) suffer a critical lack of common sense and reason.
In their minds their plan is airtight and unassailable, and history is replete with similar examples of politicians who gravely underestimated both the situation and their own capabilities.
They likely hold some half-baked plan to deal with revolutionaries that will fail, or foolishly believe the American people too pacified to try anything, or, the invaders surprise them by turning on them (and us in the process.)

Whatever the case may be, they've been getting by on luck and outside support to get this far; eventually, one or both are going to run out.
