Actresses (and maybe actors in general), I think, are manipulative and prone to lying. They love attention, which is a trait of histrionic personality disorder. And they are good at deceiving people— it’s their job! It should be no surprise that many are awful human beings. We really should not lionize them. Even the “good” ones like Kevin Sorbo or Mel Gibson are probably pretty narcissistic.
