Good and accurate quote. He WAS hung on a tree, not a crucifix. The cross was the cross-beam nailed to the trunk of a tree. This meme is not a condemnation of Christianity, but a condemnation of your ignorance.

Christ didn't choose the cross because he likes crosses, He chose the cross (and all the suffering) as reparation for our sins. He made a sacrifice for us, because He loves us.

No legitimate form of Christianity worships the cross, but acknowledges the cross for the redemption it has provided for us.
