Would you go for a small explosive or a fire-starter?

Personally I'd go for fire-starter and hope for the best.

@bobdole9...reading your comment reminded me of a time in Costa Rica and we were warned about the "shadow" bombs and "vibration sensitive" explosives...this was in 96/97 and Limon was a bad spot...cigarette packages, Motorola "brick" phones and even Bic lighters were rigged to blow...block out the sun or picking something up off the sidewalk or in a "bano" could cause serious problems...I don't know if you're familiar with the way an explosive lighter works but it's pretty simple...SEMTEX BOOSTER putty with a .50 cal primer insert triggered by a spring "clap trap" mechanism all contained in the half body of the lighter (that faces down) will blow an arm off...they're actually pretty slick and simple...there's really nothing complicated to explosives other than knowing how much to apply in order to get the job done neatly...just thought I'd throw that in there.

The only risk is it tends to spread, so they'll likely end up getting it on their crotch; hopefully that doesn't happen
