I love my mask. As Winter looms more and more people in Aus are wearing masks (but not many).

Here is an easy test for you OP. Put your mask on before you go take a shit. If you can smell your pooh, your mask isn't doing shit to protect you. CV and every other virus can be actually attach to the pooh particles that you smell, as the virus are literally 100 times smaller than the pooh particle.

You are kidding yourself if you think your keeping yourself or anyone else safe. And, remember, when the mask mandates first came out, they told you very directly that the masks were not meant to protect you from other people. They were being mandated to protect other people from you.

You may have a point - a small one. Firstly, and I hate to be indelicate, a mask wouldn't stop the smell of my bowel-stench which is why I always dump 'n' flush straight away. It works. A courtesy flush. And then the bathroom's not off limits for half an hour.

But yes I've noticed I can smell smells even while wearing my $82 Sonovia mask which is a worry but...fact is I haven't caught a bug in a couple of mask-wearing years!

You not catching a "bug" is not proof the mask works, helps, is or was of any benefit.

And, I couldn't give a shit about how you take a shit.

If you can smell odors, you can catch covid. The CV19 virus is 100 times smaller than an odor particle and can attack to those particles when they travel.

Fact is, 33% of people who catch covid never even knew they were sick, so unless you're still testing every 3-5 days, you could have caught covid and not have known it.

Not a big fan of Scientific American since the jews bought them. This article is one more reason why. Use to be an amazing brand.

They work well at collecting germs. Try reading the article. It tells you that randomized trials are better than other kinds of evidence, and review of randomized trials the best tool we have. Then it tries to sell you that randomized trials aren't actually good for the case of masks.

Keep wearing your cuckmuzzle then. You’re not helping anyone and it looks stupid.

My mask looks like a chaff bag. But I don't care and when we maskies see each other in the supermarket we give each other a glance of support.

This isn't an article about masks working. It's a CYA article about randomized studies are bad.

Yes. A tight fitting, N95 Mask, properly donned, properly worn, untouched, and regularly exchanged (every 4 hours), will help prevent areosolized viruses from spreading in a lab testing facility.

Only problem is, no one, and I mean no one, puts on their N95 mask the way they are supposed to. They don't adjust it the way they are supposed to. They don't change it out every 4 hours the way they are supposed to. And, they touch it with their hands and adjust it on their face the way that they aren't supposed to. Taking a mask on and off, even once, isn't proper and can lead to aiding in the spread of infection. Hell, many people don't even use N95 masks.

If you look at the infection rates of local, state or nation studies, you would be completely unable to determine when mask mandates were put into place or relaxed.

Nope. CDC stated in summer 2020 that those living in smoke from wildfires were told "masks were inefdective at filtering out the smoke particles". Funny, since the smoke particles are around 100x bigger than the virus.

Unless yours is used for hazmat cleanup, going to doubt it works as well as you hope.
