It is a nice design, and the mulch makes sense, but my concern with the mulch would be the chemicals that are put in that shit.

Especially the fact that the guy is showing red mulch, which I do use in the flower/bush beds, but I am not eating anything using that.

I now grow mostly all our veggies in plastic tubs. In the ground they must compete with tree roots that grab their water.

I'm harvesting "Big Bertha" tomorrow. My biggest potato plant. She's the one on the right in the pic below but she's modest and covers herself with leaves.

Lol, "Put a whole an inch maybe two inches from the bottom." It's like four inches.
