To be fair, it's likely a video camera from 200 yards away that has been zoomed in multiple times.
Willing to bet that camera footage was tied to his living complex video footage with him walking into his apartment and then coming out an hour later with a garbage bag of bloody clothes that he tossed in the complex dumpster. They get to that dumpster, find the DNA evidence they are talking about in the article and viola... you have the murderer and footage of him running from the crime scene, walking into his house and then disposing of the evidence. He's fucked. I only hope they don't get a jewidified judge to let him off.
