Why there are no more small smartphones?

I asked the clerk to show me small smartphones, and he replied that only Apple has only one small smartphone model. I wonder why there are no more small smartphones from Android. Do people need fucking glasses?

I do miss having a phone fit into my hand and being able to navigate the whole screen with my thumb. Last time I went into a mobile store I asked the guy if they had any smaller phones and he looked at me weird.

Yes. That's what I'm talking about.

Battery size. The battery can only be so small to keep a phone active (screen on, doing stuff) for 8-12 hours straight. The screen isn't much bigger than the battery.

My small smartphone has great battery endurance.

Can it run today's apps on a 5G network for 8-12 hours without a charge? Can I watch live streams on your phone for 8 hours in 4K?

It doesn't have 5G, but you can do all the other things.

Check by yourself, it's Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact.

The review in read seemed like it was pretty good, but here is the part that relates.

The battery capacity of 3,180 mAh isn't a lot, but the Xperia XZ2's battery, chipset, and software combine to squeeze some impressive results from that unimpressive capacity. Battery life has been great with our use case involving around 16-17 hours off the charger each day, with most of the time spent connected to Wi-Fi, a couple or so hours of mobile data, and Bluetooth always on (with music streaming for 1-2 hours).

By today's standards 2 hours of audio isn't very good. I can run full streaming audio and video on my S20 for 6-8 hours, easily.

I would prefer a small phone, but the demand for media streaming is the "in" thing deez daze.

That's right. But it's an old phone. Today they can make more powerful small batteries. I still don't know why nobody makes small Android smartphones anymore.

Batteries haven't fundamentally changed in years. They discovered how to shape them more freely but even that was a while ago.

Battery on my Moto Power G lasts 10 days on standby. Out of around 20 cell phones I've used, far and away the best battery ever.

OK, but it is a mini smartphone like mine?
