They have no long term plan, and THAT is the rub. They only are focused on short term, immediate, one or two week action plans. Can they get gratification (of any kind) by doing 'X'? Then, by God, she'll do it.
On that note, consider that nothing fulfills them; they have no goals or hopes or dreams that they've internalized. No real five year "where do you want to be" considerations. It's all one mindless chase the "current topic" and post it on social networking for validation to the biggest group they can.
Slight divergence in subject: Social network, the absolute bane of society, has been driven by the female need to get acceptance and validation, wherever they can...and now they can instantly achieve hundreds or thousands of "likes", as opposed to her small circle of friends and relatives, and now this larger groups can confirm her choices in life. I'm convinced that all of it was a social and psy-op experiment determined to change thinking in the most vulnerable groups (women and children)...to make everyone compliant and the same. And that's what SN is good for: showing everyone that you're "part of their group".
See...women don't want to solve problems. Aside from the social validation, what women want is a forum to share their problems. Whereas men will share problems to find resolutions they may not have thought of (or to confirm a plan of action), women believe that a shared problem relieves them somehow of the burden, or a portion of that burden. If five friends all say "how horrible", then by some magical means, her burden is lifted. Fuck all figuring out how to resolve it, that's for the men. Anywhoo, I digress.....
But before I do, here's another thing. As a man, you can't keep going back to your friends and say "help me solve this shit". We all have our own fucking problems, and you get three, maybe four of those--so it had better be a big fucking problem to deal with and you had better have tried before asking. We'll tell you to fuck off, no problem.
So women chase dopamine (but in a different way than the incels), and end up not doing the things they need to in order to attract and keep men that matter in their lives. And, while outside influence is surely to blame, a majority lies with the parents. So look at them, how they were raised, what they've been led to believe, and you'll understand. Women were given too much freedom and they have no fucking clue the ramifications.
Instead of committing to a marriage, they were allowed easy divorce, taking half his shit. And not all of those were abused women, not all were beaten, not all were proper ladies and their men shit. They were just as complicit, but will refuse (with a gun to their heads, mind you) to admit it.
Dude, there's many reasons women are miserable. But mostly, because they've forgotten what it means to be a woman. And that's on men to show them what to remember.

A lot of this is biology. They were built this way to tend to the thousands of little details it takes to raise healthy children and care for a family and part of it is skating through their early life. Teachers moving them through courses without any real work while being cheered on just for farting. Every woman thinks she's a star. Since they don't have kids they still think that and as they age much faster than men and since life was so easy they never accomplished anything but their looks, people lose interest in them quickly. This causes them to be miserable and hateful.
