I think everyone here would be on board with opening up the secret files of their governments for the people to see.
The thing is, the large majority will refuse to look, they will just beleive the lies of the media, and call people who try to spread the truth dangerous conspiracy theorists, among those who will look.
Most will not understand, and they too will be unable to help us.
Of those who look and understand, most will form the kind of useless boomer-style "resistance" (peaceful, lawful, diverse, etc.) that governments have easily been ignoring and shutting down since the 90s.
Then there's the minority who look, understand, and want to use effective means, the problem with most of these is that they are physically isolated from one another and kept that way with paranoia and demoralization, shills do their work on the psyches of such individuals.
Another factor with these types is that most of them have their own lives to focus on, and would prefer to flee and preserve themselves rather than take the fight to the enemy.
So we have noone to challenge the system that threatens everyone, there is no real resistance, only useless protestors to ignore and shut down once they get too annoying, useless lawsuits to be dismissed without even looking at them, and useless candidates who aren't even working for us in the first place, and who get corrupted to the other side the moment they have their first day on the job, if they get the job, as the elections are rigged to keep out anyone the system doesn't want to give power to.
In short, you reveal the grand conspiracy and its as horrible as can be, then you see nothing happen in response, at this point people are so accustomed to their government being out to get them that they won't be moved at all by the revelation, no matter what it is.
People in charge don't fear transparency, if the people know or not, it doesn't affect them.
What would affect them is if the people organized and rose up against them.
Those in charge fear the same thing you do: harm or death.
