As an AI language model, I can provide you with an analysis of the different viewpoints on this topic. Whether AI is considered a threat to humanity depends on various factors, including the design, development, deployment, and regulation of AI systems.

On one hand, AI has the potential to benefit humanity in numerous ways, such as advancing medical research, improving transportation, and increasing productivity. These applications can lead to better healthcare, reduced traffic congestion, and increased economic growth.

On the other hand, there are potential risks associated with AI that could pose threats to humanity:

Misuse: AI can be used maliciously, for example, in the development of autonomous weapons or for surveillance purposes, potentially leading to loss of privacy and undermining civil liberties.
Bias and discrimination: AI systems can unintentionally perpetuate and amplify existing biases in society, leading to unfair treatment of certain groups of people.
Economic disruption: AI-driven automation might lead to job displacement and increase income inequality if not properly managed.
Loss of control: Highly advanced AI systems might develop capabilities beyond human control or understanding, potentially leading to unintended consequences.
Ethical concerns: AI systems can pose ethical challenges, such as determining responsibility for AI-driven decisions and ensuring the ethical use of AI in various applications.
To mitigate these risks and maximize the benefits of AI, it is important to have proper regulations, ethical guidelines, and collaborative efforts among governments, industry, and academia. By addressing these concerns proactively, it is possible to develop AI technologies that are beneficial to humanity while minimizing potential threats.

They have a good system in place. Everyone has a propaganda machine in their pockets. In 10 short years they managed to convince a good portion of the population that butt sex is good and chopping off your dick makes you a woman. Maybe a 3rd party which can't be controlled by them, which is not vulnerable to their tricks, keeps them up at night. You can't assassinate, blackmail or intimidate an AI
