Never seen it like this. I suspect logs and shit have dammed up further downstream closer to the lake, causing it to flood upstream more than usual.

TW's sure are fun though. I've only ever ridden them in the parking lot of a powersport dealership I've worked at, but I've always thought they would be fun to ride on a on a trail or beach. Post a pic of your TW man.
