Of course not. I like peace and quiet when I'm in the woods. I like to hear the wind in the trees. I like to listen to wildlife, not scare it all off with the sound of an obnoxiously loud motor that doesn't even sound remotely good.

I understand you're not interested in modern sounds when in nature, which is why when I noticed a hiker ahead on the trail, I just turned around early as not to disturb him too much, plus a I knew a deep ass mud hole would block my path ahead anyway. Some people like different things. Sometimes I really enjoy the unpolluted sounds of nature, sometimes I want to show that nature who's boss using a marvel of 1990's engineering, the DR-Z 400.

Cute high horse, faggot. I used to hike a good strip of the appalachian trail regularly. For a long time, I lived right at the base of a mountain that was the starting point of a disused forest service road and logging roads. I'd take my dirtbikes out a good 15mi to get to the quiet trails and meadows that I liked. It was a fast way to get to places that were serene and the rides themselves were invigorating, and all a part of the stress relieving.

I sold my last two wheeler two years ago. Only ride a rancher quad now. I do miss the trail riding though. Something special about it. Like taking in nature on a hike except you take much more on at a faster pace. I guess hiking is for the “slower of mind” people.
