Obviously, this is all part of a much larger plan, and it goes way beyond just leaving the front door open for all the riff-raff to make themselves at home.
There will be some tipping point where the next phase will kick in, and it will be sudden, quick, and ugly, as history has demonstrated revolutions and conquests to be.
My money is on a large group of these fighting-age males to finally go armed and try to reconquista one or more areas in the Southwest states, and the current administration will act totally helpless to stop it, probably opting instead to negotiate or capitulate.
