Entirely makes sense that they'd want to kill off the fittest among us when they've openly stated that they want to mongrelize us with inferior races to produce what amounts to human livestock.
Was this soft-kill always part of the plan or are they panicking and trying to accelerate?

I hope their family is still masking from the evil covid threat. They'll probably be attend their loved ones funerals though.
