At minimum, one can conclude it's not very effective.

But, yeah, it needs to be adjusted for how vaxxed the population is. On the flip side, many pro-vaxx stats like this are cooked by adjusting and pretending that anyone who got the shot less than X weeks ago belongs in the unvaxxed group, effectively putting all the short term adverse reactions in it.

I’d have to dig for it, but there was a mass autopsy study in the late 90s I think, of Spanish flu victims.
Of the few 2000+ remains they tested there was natural causes and from the pandemic, and effectively 100% of the flu dead had the Vax in them. So literally only the vaxxed died.
