Or just more water. Some of ours that are in really shitty clay crap soil do the best of all - because a drainage issue causes that section of garden to get quite a bit of water. I'll post the blooms from that one when they finally get around to opening. The peach tree right by there is going completely crazy with blooms this year!

We've infested our gardens with the red ones. I'll need to post some pics when they finally get around to opening; it's been sporadically winter-ish again lately and they're sleeping in or something.

Mine are either like this, or white with a red star burst. They get bigger every year too.

Yeah, ours sound more like the latter, and they too get bigger every year along with the bromeliad that we didn't even expect to survive, or ever look the way we did when we bought it. That thing has a big impossible looking red white and blue bloom.
