It is my belief unless we have the light of God ( His spirit) within us, ( reflecting the light of God in a perfect pattern) we will not be able to stand in his presence, this is not a punishment on his part, it is simply the way it is. Shadows cannot exist in light. The more of his spirit in you , the closer you can be to him, in his presence, in proximity. This does not preclude others, they will simply be distant, unable to withstand the intensity and therefore not able to completely witness the continuing creation that springs from the Most High.

I'm not even remotely an expert on ancient Hebrew but the source manuscript seems to point to a plural. It seems to strongly be the case that a "we"/"us" is a justified translation.

But in the context of a royal 'we' it is possible that someone might justify an "I" translation.

Whichever way a translation team goes, it's usually inconsequential... until we get to OP's thesis and then it has relevance when we are weighing that. In the end, OP's thesis does not appear to be justified as-is.
