Need a source on the actual race of those committing the crime because this could also mean that a wealthy neighborhood is attracting more criminal opportunity as opposed to bum fck no where.

I live in Queens, NY and the Black neighborhoods of Eastern Queens have high percentages of home ownership and many luxury cars in the driveways. The income levels are actually slightly higher than Whites from surrounding neighborhoods, so there is no lack of housing and most residents aren’t in poverty. Of course, as you might expect, the crime in these slightly wealthier Black areas is like 3x worse than the adjacent areas that are mostly White.

My neighborhood is mostly Jewish and Asian. Probably less than 2% of the resident population is Black. Almost all (and I mean 95%+) of the crime is committed by Blacks who do not reside in the neighborhood.
