Boomers are 70+ years old. Imagine still going around blaming the dead for your unhappiness.

Soon you'll be 70 years old still blaming your parents.

Boomers bought homes for peanuts on single low incomes and paid them off in 15years, with policies enacted by shabbos politicians they all became millionaires.
Property alone in most places in the occident outside the USA found a 500%+ increase in their value they sat on, not through hard work but from shear luck.
Wages meanwhile increase marginally between 8-16% in the last 20years, meanwhile food prices increase 250%, utilities 300%, and house prices 500-600%.
Even now dumb boomers want to encourage more brown immigration into the country to death knell the last remnant of their bloodline and their race so they can continue partying like they were in their 20s.

FYI boomers are anywhere between 59-77 years old, imagine thinking they are all 90+ you math gronk.

Only 55% of genX are homeowners and conservatively 35% of gen Y are homeowners. Boomers have 85-90% home ownership, everyone that wasn't a degenerate alcoholic, gambler or skeeve from that generation has a modest home.

Boomers are the most selfish and degenerate generation to have ever existed by and large.

Let's not forget boomers were the first ones to throw away the idea of 3-4 generations living in one home taking care of each other. The first assisted living home was built in 1981. Boomers were the first ones to say "fuck you mom and dad, go have someone else take care of you." They were the first ones to tell their children "fuck letting you establish a career and stockpile a moderate savings, you're 18, get out of our house now"
Then they went and blew all their money, got to the age where they can't work anymore, and they sit in these retirement homes that they created rotting away whining about how their kids don't want to visit them, don't seem to give a shit about them, and how they can't afford to buy their mobility scooters because they saved none of their money.

Gen X is already starting to realize what a big fuck up that is and now they're more willing to accept the tradeoff of living with their kids into their 20s and 30s because having a family member that cares about you take care of you is better then being shipped off to an old folks home.

At 18 I left and went on my own. Once, for 2 months, I needed a place to stay at 23 years old until I transferred to a new job. It's the only thing I asked of my parents.

Today's kids- "why should I leave, this is my house? my sister lived here until she was 23 and then my parents let her move into their other house for free. I ain't ever leaving, they owe me."

Actual quote. I shit you not, and while it's just one I have at least 5 or 6 others similar to it. The mentality has changed.

The boomer and gen X generations are very unique in that they are the only generations to not have 3-4 generations living under one roof all taking care of each other. It became quickly apparent to gen X and Millennials that keeping your kids around to take care of you into old age is a better alternative than rotting away in an assisted living home. Speaking of, the first assisted living home was founded in 1981. Boomers were the first generation to say "fuck you mom and dad, I don't want to take care of you and I don't care about anything you did for me."

^^^ That's just pure diarrhea you're spewing.

Part of "growing up" is leaving the care of your parents AND relieving them of the responsibility of your failures all while growing as a viable person.

I couldn't leave fast enough and not for one minute did I miss living under their roof no matter the costs.

You're "take" on things seems to be weak and faggish homo. Quit sucking mommy's tit so hard.

Assuming you're gen X and your parents were boomers I could totally understand why you would feel that way. Because the boomers treated their children just as poorly as they treated their parents. The breakdown of the family unit that everyone complains about on this site? Created by boomers. You're just echoing the schism.
Either that or you are a boomer lashing out because you feel personally attacked by the facts.

How nice of you to paint me into that exact box that you want others to be in.

How about, I was willing to venture out into the big bad scary world using the tools that my parents gave me to succeed? And that through their years of instruction I was able to accomplish everything I needed to in order to provide myself and a family a life where we did not have to rely on others?

TLDR- I'm not a piece of shit.

The big bad scary world that was easier to succeed in than any other time in history including today. Which the boomers then ensured would not be passed down to their grandchildren. The tools to succeed that boomers voted to have ripped out of the hands of the future generations.
The fact that you believe young people continuing to live with their parents during an extreme economic recession makes them pieces of shit says more about you than it does about them.
Are there entitled youths out there? Yes. But they're still not as entitled as the boomers were.

You provided for yourself a life where you don't have to rely "on others" but what would your stance be when you reach the age you are too old to take care of yourself? Would you rather your children throw you to rot in retirement homes, have them take care of you, or just put yourself out of your and everyone else's misery?

Your very sentiments contradict each other. You talk about providing for your family but not relying on others. Are you going to be a repeat of the boomers and say "hey kids, you're 18. I know you have no work or life experience, the economy is in the toilet, job market is shit, and housing is through the roof. Better get out there and figure something out!" or are you going to grow up and realize that the traditional way of doing things worked for thousands of years and the break in the tradition as seen by the boomers didn't.

Only applies to first set of kids though.

Second wife's kids get princess treatment regardless if male or female.
