Starting to think deer are the most unfortunate animals in the world. If they're not being eaten alive by Komodo Dragons, they are cross-breeding with fish.

Muntjac deer have noticeable “holes” on their faces. These “holes” aren't actually holes. They are scent glands that muntjac deer use to mark their territories. If you were to look at an image of a muntjack deer, you will notice a “V” shape on their foreheads, these are known as their frontal glands.

They're saying this "average dog sized deer" (~22 inch height) is the one type that makes a good indoor pet. It also 'barks', and 'screams' if frightened.
