One of the coolest things I’ve seen recently….a dive bar by my house, who is owned by this old timer (80 year old Italian guy), took down all of their Trump paraphernalia, which he had up forever. People are starting to understand the grift. Seeing this makes me think he may be putting up some anti-Israel signage soon, because once you see through his grift, there’s only ONE answer, and it begins with the JQ.

I really can't tell if he's just shamelessly grifting at this point or he's just horribly incompetent or out of touch. Maybe all of the above.

Clearly not /our guy/, but damn I wish he had been.

I love him for the sense of populism and nationalism he invoked or awaked in White Christian America, but damn what a disappointment overall.

Trump has just lost it.

There is no way so many of the pivotal last 5% are going to stand in line for hours to vote for him again.

Doesn't matter. What choice does an average conservative voter believe they have?

If you walk into a store and want to look at baseball cards to buy, a trained salesperson will winnow your choices down to two right away for you, and then they'll slightly denigrate one to control your choice. The last thing on earth they're going to do is let you take up their time looking at 20 cards and try make your own decision.

That's built right into political strategy, and straying from the rules scares the living shit out of the edifice.
