At noon the northern shadow of a plumb stick is consistent with the angle of the sun for a curved Earth if you video call a friend at a different latitude.

You can even check yourself if you travel within a week or so between a far northern latitude and central one. The sun is overhead at noon yet the north shadow is consistent with a globe

Same deal with the Southern cross. In the night sky only a globe lands the southern cross in the sky center for two simultaneous observers. For fag earth staring with the north to your back, and looking outward, you look at two different points. You can do that with a plate.

Take a plate, put a peanut in the center. That's the North. Get a Marshmallow and poke two eyes in it. Put it on the edge of the plate looking outward (the south). Put a grape in front of it. The southern cross. Now spin the plate a bit. The marshmallow is no longer looking at the grape. On the Earth though, the Southern cross remains in front of you when looking south.

#Eclipses

Ball believers often claim that you can see the Earths curved shadow on the Moon. That the Earths shadow is what causes Moon phases and eclipses. A simple way to disprove this yourself is simple observation. You can often see the Sun and the Moon in the sky at the same time. Note their locations and the Moons phase. Ask yourself how the ball models shadows theory could possibly work with the Sun, Moon and Earths current locations and the Moons phase. How is the Earth projecting its shadow on the Moon if the Sun and the Moon are both in the sky at the same time? Does the location of the shadow on the Moon make any sense? I cannot make a claim as to what causes the eclipses, but its easy enough to observe for yourself that the positions are not correct for eclipses to be shadows. In addition, ball believers also claim that their model accurately predicts and calculates when eclipses will happen. I've never seen them provide the calculations. Eclipses have been accurately predicted for thousands of years without needing or using the ball model.
