Victoria doesn't really represent the rest of Australia either, its always been a hipster sort of city, used to have a very active live music scene and graphitti art is EVERYWHERE.

they have the weird driving laws too, like a hook turn because of trams, yes the trams still are very active in the city.

I'd stay away from most of Australia aside New South Wales, and Queensland.

South Australia, West Australia, and Tasmania are more isolated and the most boring places on earth and the Northern Territory has too many Abos and its really hot, the cities highest building is 100m and residential, its really just for tourists and a place to leave the abos so they don't bother the rest of Australia.
