We're a rare breed.

It's like I said in my other comment though. My general standard is if I'm old enough to be your parent, no way. There's plenty of folks out there with 10-12 year age gaps and everything works fine. I'd only do that if it was something like if I was 30 and the girl was 20 or something. You're both adults, you've been out in the world, different points in life yeah but you're not just scooping up a chick right when she's out of high school.

Hell, there's a few girls I know when I'm subbing that let me know they're 18, in unrelated conversation to our topic of course. I look at them and they're not exactly kids, but they're like... still sorta baby faced. No way in Hell could I be attracted to them.

Only way I would ever even maybe possibly perhaps consider an 18yo at my age is if she is well out of high school, as in starting college or well into college, her parents know and are entirely okay with it, and she came to me first. And even then I'd still be sketched out.

But a "normal" way of doing things where I catch a case of the feels and approach some 18yo chick as a guy that's already out of college and ask her out? I stand by my previous statement.

So there's my take. 30-20? Fine. 40-30? Honestly who's going to care? 23/24-18? People will damn well fucking talk and they've got every right to. 24-19? Extreme caution. I'm checking with her dad and then her mother, siblings if she's got 'em, and Hell probably her grandparents as well. If even one says no, I'm bailing out.
