[BUG] Submission Sub Is Incorrect...

submitted by TheRealBuddha to TalkDev 1 yearApr 14, 2023 13:56:37 ago (+1/-0)     (TalkDev)

I am not sure that words are a good way to describe this. So, I took screenshots...

I made a submission (a poll, if that matters) in the /soapboxbanhammer sub - about midgets and parades, of course.

As you can see, it lists the sub as 'all'. The expected behavior is for it to show the proper sub, the sub where the thread was posted.

Now, it wasn't always like this. Here's an earlier submission that shows the correct sub in the appropriate places.

Hmm... Do we get multiple bug badges?!?

If those links don't work:

Also, it sends me a notification if I reply to my own post. I suppose that's technically correct, but it's unusual behavior. I noticed this first when making guitar threads. I open the thread and immediately post in it to get folks started. It sends me a notification about there being a reply to the thread - even though it was me and my thread.

That's a good idea

I wondered if it might have been because it was a poll. (Thus mentioning that.) Thanks for making that clear.

I dunno if it makes much sense, but at least we can post polls. That's something for me to keep in mind.

Also, I'm seeing the line breaks again <be />.
