Looks like a few areas in the south are okay from a population density perspective. The north and a lot of the south are heavily urban, or 98% industrial food production.

I moved from a similar place a couple states to the east after I became aware that quality of life is not equally distributed.

I don't know. Tend to think post corona buying a home is a bad deal. You'll lose so much equity so quickly as rates rise. Better to put money in savings and wait for a downturn.

The house next door was bought by Chinese. Has been sitting empty for 6 months now. Now For sale by owner. Less than 1% vacancy rate locally. No rational person would have bought the house as priced. Looking forward to moving in soon when war with Taiwan starts.
