I don't use alts but I considered making one to start a new sub and basically run that sub and post content with it.

The reason I'd use an alt is so I could be more free to get into stupid arguments with my main but to keep a higher standard when running that sub and to help avoid things like personal grudges from disagreements from bleeding over into it.

Also situations like 2 roommates who both have an account might look like alts, so maybe allowing a couple avoids situations like that being an issue.
