I hate the idea of accounts getting brigaded and then limited over petty stuff so I may turn this into a mod option which can be turned on and off depending on the climate and mod availability but right now that's too much work.

Agreed. The purpose of a forum like this in some respects is the same as a news aggregator. This is true of the external content AND the user commentary which in itself is its own kind of content. Even the use of chatbots is tolerable (and even welcomed in many cases) so long as the quality of content they generate adds to the experience in a positive way. That 'try' chatbot was a great example of a bot that aimed at adding quality content and the owner seemed to be tweaking it over time before giving it up and starting from stratch. Some of the bots here aren't generating content for the purpose of adding quality content, many of the bots are pumping out content for the purpose of conditioning thought and cognitive hysteresis. Brainwashing basically. And the MO by virtue of their posts appears to be antiWestern, antiChristian, antiWhite. The owners of these bots are probably up to no good and don't seem to be taking any real effort to improve their product. A bot with a bias is fine so long as it is actually provoking meaningful thought that would in turn help human users learn and grow. Many of these bots are just spewing trashtalk completely devoid of substance. It becomes unfortunate noise, like reading a tabloid that is unambiguously untied to reality. It's funny at first but then it becomes tiresome.

I think SCP and CCP should be their own metric. Falling into the SCP negs should limit what you can submit as a post and CCP limits your comments.
I think most who are spammers are more concerned w making submissions. Using SCP as a limiter will actually target those who spam and do not participate.
