They did Canada first. Canadians can sell things that are under 2 millimetres thick and make a profit. They know 2 millimetres means a flat bubble mailer might not qualify. Your little box would probably cost a Canadian $70.00

You can buy a 25 foot expanding garden hose from China for US $8.21, with free shipping from China to your mailbox. At least some of your $12 cost went towards financing the free shipping for Aliexpress, Temu, and the rest.

Yeah, I had the same shit ordering some stuff for my tomato tubs.

I used to get expedited shipping, as it was reasonable:
2016 -> Shipping charge 15.98
2022 -> " 28.98
2023 -> 38.98 for Normal delivery.

The expedited shipping for this years order was over $200. Fucking ridiculous.
